Why won't my laptop start up after upgrading to Windows 10

I recently upgraded my laptop to windows 10 but after entering the password nothing happens?

You need to search on google for some more specifics.

I recently installed W10 on a Samsung laptop and it wouldn't boot fully and after searching found it was a known issue.

Replacing the Broadcom WiFi card solved the issue, but I'd have not sorted it without searching.
