Surface Pro 4 repeatedly won't turn on.

I've keep having to hard start my SP4 after powering off. Once it is powered off it will not turn back on by simply pushing the power button about 10% of the time...
I've only had it for about a month and it has been a constant issue. The 1st time being the second day I had it. It is also warm to the touch while in power off mode. I spend a bunch of money on this sucker and am worried about it's future reliability not to mention the annoyance and inconvenience of having to run through the various solutions (holding power button, holding volume button...blah blah)
Should I take it back?

Have you updated it to the latest firmware?

Check windows update and makes sure you're up to date...

If you are, I would recommend returning it.
