Windows Central Question

Hi, After being on IOS for years. I am so sick having to replace my screen every 2 months. Tried blackberry 10 and enjoy that but now facebook and whatsapp dropping support means it kinda dead.. again/still..:)... So I am looking for WIndows Phone and I borrow an 535 which is running windows 10 via insider. I like the os but screen/device freezes about ever 2 hours.. The shop says the 550 is faster but that is a 1,1 ghz proc. and the 535 a 1,2, shouldnt the 535 be faster. How does this work, what phone do you recommend <250$ ?

535 info:
os build: 10.0.10586.164
version 1511

i suggest you to go with lumia 550 - new release > extended support > better GPU adreno 304 > 720p main camera > over that 550 is a snapdragon 210 processor X whereas 535 a snapdragon 200 X that marks the line :)

Thank you all for your replies,

Also the fact that the Lumia 535 you have tried freezes every 2 hours isn't normal (It doesn't on mine).
It possibly needs a hard reset or the storage may be nearly full.

I went to the store since I still have some warrantee on the phone but they say it's normal due to the age of the device.
Today I played around with a 650 of a friend of mine and that one is way more fluently while it only has a 1,3 ghz so I think I will indeed upgrade to a newer phone and see how that goes,
