How do I require my folder sharing recipient to have a Microsoft account?

Windows Central Question

I do not want the recipient to be able to forward the invitation to anyone. I do not want a URL in the wild that allows access. However, whether I choose "Get a link" or "Email", tests show that the recipient need not log in with the given Microsoft account. Is there any work around? What happened to the option to require the recipient to log in with a Microsoft account?

Select the file or folder you want to share (click once) to get the check mark in the upper right corner of the item.

On the toolbar at the top right, click the information icon:

Scroll down the sidebar that opens and select "Add people." You can add them as view only or edit.
