Windows Central Question

Does the band 2 remember the stride length calibration as a result of using GPS data? If so, approximately how long must I use it with the GPS on before the stride length calibration is no longer providing a consequential improvement in accuracy? The watch comes off the charger about 0530 and by 1900 battery capacity is very low so I would like to turn the GPS off if it is no longer providing a consequentially useful function. Thank you.

Yes... The recommended calibration is 2 - 3 walks and/or runs with GPS enabled. Then your stride has a good average. After that it is best used if you want to see your routes mapped, but accuracy will always be improved running GPS. For those not hypercritical of their performance due to training for events, once you are calibrated Band/Band 2 are rated very accurate compared among top models of fitness wearables.
