Can you remove the SIM and then put it back and check if flight mode is still there. Also, check settings to see if flight mode has been enabled

Could you elaborate on that? What does need IMEI mean? It isn't showing IMEI in the settings? What was automatically formatted?


If it is not your SIM...

It may be a fault on the daughterboard that houses the antenna (and other components).

Try this method to "jumpstart" the bridge between mother and daughter boards: 1520.3 airplane mode stuck

Look here for how replacing the daughterboard corrects the issue: Lumia 1520 stuck in airplane mode? It is caused by a defective microphone/usb daughterboard.
