Windows Central Question

My coworkers and I are about to hit our busiest two weeks of retail business starting this weekend. We work for a major outdoor retailer and as a result, each one of us have COMPLETELY different ecosystems of fitness trackers and apps. I think it would be fun to have a step leaderboard, but it's hard considering we're so spread out. I know Microsoft Heath on Windows phone tracks steps when you are not using the band, does it do that on iOS and Android? Is there a weird version of Android you need to minimally have for it to work? It would be nice to have leaderboard system we could share on Facebook, but perhaps there is an app that does all these things that is popular and I am just unaware of it? Thanks for any input and if you had experiences with these apps when not using the band, could you give feedback? :)
