How to launch a blank page in windows ink sketchpad

Yesterday I updated to build 14342, was very excited to first try the new Windows Ink functionality. Aftr a few minutes, I got quite disappointed. Perhaps I am stupid, but I did not find out any way to launch the sketchpad with a new, blank page to draw upon. No hint whatsoever in the menue bar on the top right corner. Is that really possible? I mean, they do not expect users to erase all contents on a page to start over, do they?
Or ist there some simple trick and I think just too... complicated?

Tap eraser on toolbar and choose Clear All.

I had the same problem. Was delighted to find the Clear All menu item!!!
