can every viber user see all my sent pics through viber?

i opened the viber folder download on my pc to retrieve some pics that I had sent through conversations with family however, it opened a folder with 8400 items and would not stop downloading. my pictures were there but mixed in with thousands of other pictures I think from other viber users too. I do not recognize any of the other pics. my pics weren't all in sequence it was randomly mixed. When I tried to delete a strangers photo. it deleted but then 2 or 3 of the same photo popped right back up. can all the other users see my pics since I can see theirs? this is a very serious privacy issue :-(
I have been freaking out since this started.
