Nokia Lumia Icon will not upgrade to Windows Phone 10

[Windows Central Question]

I am trying upgrade my Nokia Lumia Icon to Windows 10 Mobile. I tried to upgrade several times and kept getting 0x80070002 error. After one of the attempts to upgrade the phone became unresponsive and had to hard reset the phone.

After the hard reset, I tried the upgrade again a couple of times and received the same error.

I searched but cannot find anyone that has the same issue or has a solution.

Try the WDRT as it may have the Windows 10 image since it's now officially supported.
