    Hello

I currently use windows insider on my lumiam920 with latest official win10 10586.494, but i need reset phone from settings/system. So my question is: what after reset my version os system? Its 8.1 lr still win10mobile 10586.494 or else?
If 8.1 can i get again update from windows insider to 10586.494?
And if that after reset win10m can i again update for 10586.494?

    Thank you

The Lumia 920 didn't get the official Win 10 mobile, so you must be an Insider. If you hard reset you will stay on the same OS.

If your build is 10586.494,then you are not an insider.
However,if you do a hard reset, you will still have windows 10 on your device

    Thx for reply.
Like I said already I Windows insider in release ring.
Ok so after hard reset I still on 10586.494?
I asking this coz if it's older win10, can I updates to 10586.494?

I remember some news about 920 users and some others oldpgones can't get anymore via windows insider updates

If you are on 10586.494 and you hard reset, you will still be on it. The only way to change is via the Windows Device Recovery Tool, which will take you to WP8.1. However the 920 and other unsupported phones currently cannot get any of the insider builds.

yes, if you hard reset, you still stay on .494. You cannot go backwards by doing a hard reset

yes that is correct, but only if you go back to windows 8.1 and yes hard reset wont take you back to windows phone 8.1, you will stay on 10586.494 :)
