why doesnt my desktop appear when i start my computer?

When I start my computer, the desktop doesn't appear. Only the Windows 10 screen appears. I would like my desktop to appear on start up.

Im assuming you mean You want to be signed in automatically, if so heres a guide Automatically log in to your Windows 10 PC - CNET if your taskbar and desktop icons arent showing up make sure "explorer.exe" (w/out the quotes) is set to open on startup

Go to the action centre and turn off Tablet mode.

Try Task Manager by using Ctrl + Alt + Del, then click "New Task" on top left then find "explorer.exe" and you should be fine. I'm not sure why it isn't fixing itself on a reboot
