Windows Central Question

I upgraded a desktop machine from windows 8 to windows 10.
the wireless worked fine for several months then one day it just would not connect.
I get a message that an Ethernet cable is disconnected.
I have no sign on a wireless adapter anywhere that I look in the system.

Your adapter needs win10 drivers, manufactures didn't release them on public win10 update I guess, usually drivers updates automatically by itself
Try unplug it , then replug. If possible, connect your pc via wired ethernet and make a check updates via settings
Last resource: Use another device to visiti manufacturer site, download drivers, and move them via usb key to pc
