How to swap a Micro SD card and not loose any information from the old one

I am trying to switch SD card on my Lumia 950 but does not want to loose any info from the old one what do I do?

SD app data is encrypted so you loose that. Perhaps move apps to internal storage of the SD before changing it. Then moving back onto the new SD.

You may be to do a backup which may save some app data and then restore the phone with the new card but that sounds messy and may not work.

Most data people have on SD are typically photos and videos taken - that will copy if you put the card in a PC and copy the data from one SD to another. Only app data is a pain.
