can't always get on log on page

in the morning after my computer has been sleeping it will not power up. sometimes the screen shows a flashing yellow page

Not sure what you're referring to. Does this happen if you choose to Hibernate or Shut your PC Down instead?

also check that you have the latest updates installed and app updates installed too
