Cortana won't play music on demand from SD Card

Hello, first time poster here. I have Lumia 830, and previously had a 635, a 920, and before that a 820. I cannot get Cortana to play music from the SD card under Windows 10. I used to be able to do this under 8.1, but not anymore. However, I was able to get her to play music loaded onto my 920 (no SD card) by saying "Play some Joe Satriani", or whatever I wanted to hear. This seems like a pretty easy command, especially considering I used to be able to do it under WM 8.1. Does any one have any ideas?

Yes, I can see all my music in Groove.

I remember seeing this issue last year -I don't know how it got resolved - probably an update or adding the music again after formatting the card
