Why have text notifications disappeared from my lock screen?

Had Lumia 950 for a week now. No issues with anything. Now, randomly, I do not get any text notifications to appear on the lock screen. My text is on vibrate alert and it is not vibrating when I get a new text. Please help. Thanks.

Go to settings>notifications and see whether the text messages notifications are on or not. It happened with me..the notification of messages was automatically set to off. :smile:

check the privacy part of notifications too, whether it's set to on or off
And messaging should be enabled in the background
