after an update yesterday, fax is no longer recognized by Windows

after an update, can no longer use the fax. The computer can see the modem and it is working properly, but Windows Fax and Scan cannot see it. I tried everything to no avail. I am unable to add an account for the fax.

can you reinstall the fax machine software or drivers?
