Why are the pokestops not working in pogo UWP

[Windows Central Question]

i have a microsoft 640 and i have version 1.0.29 of PoGo UWP downlowded from St-apps but from the pokestops i only get 50 xp and in the last verion of PoGo you got pokebals and evreything but now i only get xp what can i do?

There may have been api changes in the back end and the app needs an update to reflect said changes.
