Windows Central Question

After the recent Windows 10 "update," my Windows button and Start feature work only about 10% of the time. I stumbled upon a troubleshooting utility, ran it, and got a message that I need to "correctly" install "Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost" and "Microsoft.Windows.Cortona". But that utility gave no hints on how to make those corrections. (The rest of my Windows 10 update seems to be working OK.)

Hi Welcome to Windows Central. Here's a place to start with your issue with the Start button! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...ubleshoot-problems-opening-start-menu-cortana
You might think about a in-place repair upgrade! Here's the link! You should only lose the windows up dates. I would recommend before doing any major chances, you create a back up image of your OS with a 3rd party image program. Some times the only answer to issues is a clean install!
