Should I get the new Surface Book?

I don't have a laptop. I've been thinking of getting the newest Surface Book because it's built by Microsoft since they know how their own stuff works.

I only need a laptop for some web browsing, documents, watching video and maybe some light video editing.

So should I get the latest Surface Book? I don't have a set budget.

Trust me, just because its Microsoft doesn't mean it'll be more or less reliable or bug-free. We've seen launch issues with the Pro 4, etc.

For web browsing, documents, watching video and maybe some light video editing - unless you value it's hybrid nature and sleek design A LOT, you're overspending. Don't get me wrong, its a solid, premium device. It just may be overkill depending on you. But then again you don't have a set budget so...
