why does my computer keep saying i have very little space

the aspire note book seems to have 3/4 space already gone, but on what, it is relatively new but keeps crashing saying there is not enough memory.

Hi welcome to Windows Central! There can be several reasons for that. Free space and not enough memory are two different issues.
