why does my Lumia 520 keep turning itself on and off

Phone turns on but the second I try to turn on any app or facebook maps outlook switches off and restarts over again

I guess its time to lay the old soldier down, cos its trying to let you know that its time is past. I have a 520 too (the device that comforted me when BlackBerry decided to leave me in shames). Upgraded it to Windows 10 Mobile but had to give up on it when it started showing sluggishness and unresponsiveness. I think windows 10 crippled the device.
