Windows Phone 8.1, Can my wife spy on me?

Hello, I am an owner of a Lumia 1020 with Windows 8.1 Denim. Is it possible for Windows Phone to have software installed on it that would allow a remote user to listen in to conversations while the phone is locked, intercept text messages, app data, email, etc?? If there is a way, how do I find out if my phone has been compromised, and then is there a way to remove the malicious software without wiping the phone? Thank you very much!

Maybe the real questions you should be asking are, why are you so worried about your wife seeing what you do on your phone, and why she would feel the need to spy on you in the first place. The fact that you are even asking is probably reason enough why she should be suspicious of what you do on your phone, don't you think?
