    I bought my son a gaming computer and would like to transfer his user profile and applications[programs] to the new computer from my computer, also windows 10. Does windows 10 offer a solution?

    On Windows 10, you can sign in using the same Microsoft Account on the new device and it will sync settings and Store apps. Unfortunately, legacy (i.e. regular win32/64) programs will not transfer over like that.
