    Hello there everyone,

Recently, the HDD of my laptop broke (purely a hardware issue, not a software one), so I lost all the files I hadn't saved somewhere else. The thing is, I also lost entire folders and subfolders full of important stuff (but not everything) from my OneDrive account. The missing files are not in the recycle bin and I am truly lost to where they might be, I can't retrieve them from my laptop anymore since the HDD was replaced. Any suggestios as to what I can do to get them back?

    Thanks in advance,
    Elmer

Hi! Elmer! Welcome to windows Central. Here's a link that might help! https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/ There are man ways to recover data from a dead hard drive. Some are free and some are very expensive. It depends on how important these files are to you!
