How do I set up Bitlocker

[Windows Central Question]

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10. It has TPM version 2.0. The problem I have is that while Bitlocker is inbuilt and switched on by default it does not ask me for a password or prompt me to set one up. On the top of the page it states that some activities are reserved to the system administrator. When I signed in as an administrator it did not make any difference. How can I set up a password for Bitlocker so it actually does protect my C drive?
