How do I fully encrypt my HP laptop using Bitlocker?

Windows Central Question

HP envy laptop has a C drive and also a D drive which is a separate recovery drive. I cant get the laptop encrypted because it wont unlock and fully encrypt the computer. There is a recovery partition on the drive that is not allowing me to complete it. Any help is appreciated.

Hi I corrected the link. I have no idea what happened. I almost always make sure the link works. Maybe I didn't on this one, but it should work OK now. I fixed it. Lets see what happens now. See if it reverts this time.
