Setting up new computer for the first time. Cortana says she cant connect.

using my phone as a hotspot (T Mobile) to connect to internet. Any ideas?

Is the hotspot "Masking" the connection? In other words is it a true, authorized by carrier hotspot use or is it "faking" the data stream as being used only by the phone and not the computer that is really using the data?

If your hotspot is masking, use a direct WiFi or LAN connection.
