how can I get a version of windows 10 x64 version 1607 for an RCA Tablet 2n1?

[Windows Central Question]

I have an RCA Cambio 2n1 Tablet running Windows 10 version 1607 (Anniversary Edition). I have a program that I desperately need to run that is only offered for x64 systems. I understand that I have to do fresh install but I cant seem to find one on Microsoft's site. The windows Update Tool doesn't offer the version I need.

Hi Welcome to Window Central! I'm sorry, but I have no idea what your trying to accomplish. Research shows me you are already running 64bit. If that is not the case, you would have to update your OS to a 64bit system. That is not a easy task. Here's link to WC "How to"! I went the route offered but it didn't offer the version 1607. If you don't know, this is windows tablet/mobile version. It is full capable but scaled back for smaller drives. when I downloaded the version based on what you recommend it will not load saying it is the wrong version for my platform.

All I'm wanting to do is blow away the 32 bit and install a 64 bit version.

Hi Thanks for joining the forum. Sorry IDK! The link I provided explains how to covert 32 bit to 64 bit. The 1607 is the anniversary addition. You don't just blow away the 32 bit and install 64 bit. Maybe other members will reply latter!

Was a solution found? Have exactly same question. Processor is 64 bit, but install of 64 bit windows 10 claims no 64 bit processor.
