why does my alcatel one touch fierce xl phone keeps powering off

Just about a month ago my alcatel one touch fierce xl phone began to freeze and then power down. It tries to reboot itself and constantly shows the first screen Alcatel onetouch powered by android and then nothing. It does this for hours. I tried to update the software hoping this would help, nothing. So yesterday I tried resetting the phone , again the same thing. Its been over 24hrs since the phone rebooted.

That sounds like a hardware problem.
If the phone is less than 12 months old and you are the original owner contact Alcatel service directly.

I had this phone previously and Alcatel repaired it for me no charge under warranty.
