what do the windows logo flash speeds mean?

I have a lumia 1520 where someone has replaced the screen but now it wont charge. When I plug it in, the windows logo flashes at usual speed then after a few times, goes a little faster and stays at that speed. Doing soft or hard reset makes the flashing speed decrease but then back to fast again after a few seconds

something looks to be seriously wrong with the phone - I don't think the repairs were done properly - probably a loose connection that prevents the phone from starting up fully

I have taken the phone apart, made sure all the connections are made and still nothing. could it just be the battery has been damaged?

that's a possibility though I can't say for sure unless a phone hardware technician looks at it
