How can a stranger join our group ?

[Windows Central Question]

I have a group with my friends.We don't want unknown people to join us. But this morning, there is a pop up message in our chat window states that one stranger had been joined our group and I can see her phone number. She is not in my contact list. I'm the admin of the group. How could it happen ? Can you explain ? we are worry that some stranger can view our conversation , we have many pictures, family stories to share and now we worry about it

A group in what App or Service???

Can't you as admin boot that person out?

Without more details of which App/Service we are speaking about it would be very difficult to speculate further.
