I purchased a new laptop having 1 tb hard drive
I wanted to make a partition of c drive
I used easeus software but it was not for windows 10 and started an infinite boot on starting
For that i had to delete a file which i did by cmd by going into system recovery and then troubleshooting
The system was able to boot but it showed 400 gb occupied and i remembered 90 gb was occupied earlier
I even confirmed it by selecting all folders and viewing the space and by a software as well
I have also removed all recovery points
What is the problem and what should i do to rectify it?
P.S. A couple of days later i got a notification from security and maintenance to "scan the drive for errors" and restart it but it did not solve the issue and i still keep getting the same notification again
