    Welcome to WC guest user.
A tremendous feature of OneNote is the built in ability to sync notes across devices with a Microsoft account.

Sorry that you find this unacceptable.

For years I've used OneNote with no data running and now I'm forced to use it. This sucks. Time to go with a different app. Microsoft should be moving forward not backwards. Being forced to sync with other devices is absurd.

As said, it's all because of syncing across devices and needing to be logged in with a Microsoft account to do so.

Which is stupid. I don't need notes on a home computer. That's why I carry a computer in my pocket. We shouldn't be forced to comply to their syncing? It should be optional. I don't use OneNote anywhere but my phone.

I'm not sure about this but I believe it only requires initial sign in and after that you can make notes without a connection.
