windows license will expire soon

[Windows Central Question]

Hi All,

I'll try to be as detailed as I can...

Last windows 10 pro start, I got "windows license will expire soon...go to activation settings"

I looked at 5 YouTube videos for a fix. None of them worked.

I installed activate 10, KMSpico, and showkey. None worked.

I disabled windows license management service, and windows update...didn't work.

The closest I came, was with the KMSpico. I followed the directions to the letter, but at the end, when I went settings/update and security/activation, there was no "activate" button, only a "change product key" button.

That's where I stand.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you have a legitimate copy of 10 to begin with?

if legitimate means that I have the CD, then no.
But the repair shop where I bought the notebook, is very reputable, and I've bought many things from them in the past.
I plan to call them tomorrow, but with my OCD, waiting 2 days feels like waiting 2 months (e.g. I got no sleep last night).
I was hoping to find a solution more quickly.
