I installed windows 10... but then..

Hello windows.
when i first bought my Laptop (17/01/16) i installed Windows 10. but 1 month ago , my pc had sone issues so it went back to Acer to fix. After i got my laptop back , i lost my windows 10... and now i cant reinstall it whatever i do...

2. which OS is the laptop running?
3. how did you install windows 10 previously?
4. have you tried the media creation tool from Microsoft's website?

What happens when you try to use the Media Creation Tool to upgrade? Any chance of a screenshot of the error?

What happens when you launch it?

If you got Windows 10 when it was free then there is a unique hardware identifier in the cloud that is attached your system where you using a local account or had a microsoft account added to the system?

Either way it should auto activate when windows 10 is installed.

lastly which version of Windows 8 do you have?

You can find out by pressing windows key + r to open up "run", then type winver.
