Why, suddenly, will my Windows 10 Phone not work with gmail?

It will work... and then not work. It opens sometimes. Others, it starts to open, then returns to the home screen. I've reinstalled it a few times. It will work briefly, then not. Help?

Are you using Edge to access Gmail? There is no official app from Google for this, as far as I know, so, if you are using a third-party app from the store, contacting the developer may help with the issue.
