Opening KMZ maps in Windows 10

I often convert PDF maps or make tiff maps into a geolocated KMZ format for use out of doors. This is particularly helpful when there is no internet service. At home I use Google Earth to view these, but as we all know, that program is very resource intensive and meant to be used while online. Garmin Basecamp also works, but too fairly clunky and resource intensive for simple file viewing.

I have a new relatively low resource Win 10 Asus Transformer.

What I am looking for is an app that will associate with the KMZ extension and open the files for viewing. Preferably an app that will also open other related files like kml and GPX.
