My laptop no longer recognises my Windows phone: malfunction :(((((

My laptop used to recognise my phone no worries, but every time I plug it in now I get a notification saying that last time I jacked in my computer malfunctioned, and so it no longer recognises it. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Try a different USB cable or USB port. Sounds like they are the issue, not the phone itself.
