Windows phone update installation and factory reset

Need help regarding factory reset of my Lumia 730. The reason for factory reset is my mobile internal storage left is less than 300 mb out of 8gb storage becoz of this I can't install recent updates.what should I do now .plz suggest some precautions before factory reset. Plz help.

Try this search contacts+message backup on store n download the official one frm microsoft n then go to settings u will find it there n then make a backup to ur sd card..

I went for factory reset...and now phone is working great.but one issue that I m facing is after restoring contacts from contacts and messaging app . All the contacts get mess up.
For ex: If my contact name is Rahul but when Rahul call me it is showing some other persons name instead of showing Rahul. The same things are happening in WhatsApp all contacts get mess up. Someone else name goes to someone else.
Require help.what should I do now?
