Looking at online shops here in Norway I've noticed that Surface Pro 3 is all but gone from the market, and Surface Pro 4 is starting to get some discounts. This seems to me as a sign that Surface Pro 5 is getting close. Recently we've also seen the rumors of a new and cheaper Surface Book. Do you think we'll see new hardware from MS in the next couple of months?

@zicoz - Oh man I do hope this happens! Surface Pro 5 should be loaded up. Can't verify any rumors, but count me in for a SP5 if it drops soon!!

Just got a SP4, and its good enough for me, but I hope they keep improving this and come out with the 5 this year.

@TgeekB - if the 5 does come, should be some decent price drops on the 4. Solid price for a solid machine.

It would be awesome if the 5 had a Ryzen part. Considering the target demographic is for work not gaming, extra cores would be a good thing. However I feel it's probably too new of a product for them to use it. Most likely whatever the SP5 turns out to be, has probably already beein prototype for a while.

@RobbieRobski - definitely. Chances are they've been working on it for a long time now!
