Well some people hate phablets, but I LOVE them! Wish more manufacturers weren't so shy about making 6"+ phones.

I too love phablets. Back when the Note was first introduced I thought the concept had merit since everyone was taking in content on the devices. Larger phones are easier to read word docs, pdf's and spreadsheets which I need a phone to do more often than I'd prefer I don't mind if some nod is given to big and they go down to 5.7, but that's about where my "next" phone minimum hits. If they update the 950XL (which seems unlikely) with chipsets of today, I'm probably going to leap. And I think the X3 is a spectacular design. The 1520 was perhaps one of the better phones of all time, imo.

Anyway, I feel like "there is no possible way they'll do it" but I'm still praying we get some updated phones in 2017. But the silence seems to say the most. And the X3 is getting more "cousins" but when? what features? Just have to see. Remember that the Snapdragon chipsets have been slow to come on the high end. That hinders the release of designs.
