i have a Nokia 930 and my whats-app dont receive messages until i manually open it??

i have a Nokia 930 and my whats-app doesn't receive messages until i manually open it and when i do open it i cant see contacts last seen till like 10 seconds after i open the app and then receive the messages at the same time. im on the latest version of w10 , please help guys the notification in both whatsapp and in settings are turned on and its enabled to run in the background reinstalling the app didnt work soft reset didnt help,its really annoying hope you guys could help.thank you in advance.
