The USB is detected and selected in the boot priority, but nothing happens, UNlike a USB boot stick I made months ago and it has version 1607. The unbootable boot stick was made only yesterday - the whole 7 hour process seemed to go without a hitch. But alas it appears to be useless. Both boot sticks were made on this same PC, and have been tried in quick succession, the latest failing and the earlier succeeding. What could have gone wrong yesterday ?

Check to make sure if the USB stick is defective or not :
Plug in the "unbootable" USB > click This PC > right side, under the USB drive, how many disk space are available in the USB stick ?

By April 11th, the new Creator Update will be available.
Perhaps you would wait for the new Windows 10 version 1703 (OS Build 15063) ?
