I was reading the guide to update old phones to Windows 10 Mobile.

In one of the steps, it says to download the emergency files for the phone (.mbn and .hex files) from LumiaFirmware.com
The thing is, these files are not available for all the phones and mine (Lumia 822) is one of those.

So my question is, is there another way to aquire those files?

    Thanks.

Users over on XDA sometimes help out when someone asks for hex files. Not sure if those threads are still active over there, but give it a shot? :)

As above, use the XDA Developers forum to post a request. They may be able to help.

    Thanks for the reply, guys.

Do any of you know where in XDA Developers I should post my request?
It's not as well organized as Windows Central and every forum section I see, seems to be for android.
