SMS tokens not working after Creators Update

[Windows Central Question]

My Lumia 950 updated last night and after that the SMS/text tokens are not displayed or received. Anyone seen this?

These text message are only displayed over the regular start screen and not as regular SMS (which works BTW) These SMS tokens worked yesterday and have worked for over 2 years on my Lumia950 but now they dont work. Using this to connect using two-way VPN authentication to customer sites.

Pardon me asking what is sms tokens?

I did notice there's no sound when sending ussd codes which used to have.
