    So my Asus laptop has been slowly going up percentage wise on the Scanning and repairing drive. It's currently at 52% but it hasn't moved in over an hour now. Is it going to be like this forever and how do I fix the problem? It took forever just to get passed the Asus loading screen too. Right before this all happened, my laptop tried downloading 5 updates then just stopped and lagged up really bad. When I did the restart, this all happened.

    Seems like a drive about to fail/bad sectors
    1. go to drive properties and fix the errors. Or might want to use "chkdsk" in command prompt
    2. Download the Seagate Seatools and scan your drive to see more details
    3. Make a backup image of your system
    4. Consider investing on an ssd drive

    So my laptop finally recovered and came back up. The only thing is it's giving me an error "Error code: (0x80070570)" on the Cumulative Update that was launched today. Is this an error on Microsoft's end or an error from my laptop? It's giving me that error code on the update screen by the way.

    There is already a more detailed answer to this just search the error code. But a few of things I want to mention;
    how old is your drive?
    If the update fails to install completely then like I said earlier your drive is probably about to fail this is likely due to bad blocks or bad sectors.

    Hey, never got back with you on the issue but an update fixed the error. Windows 10 likes to play games with us I swear! All is well now though. Thank you for the help!
