i get error code 0x80244022 when i try to download Viber

[Windows Central Question]

I'm using Windows Phone, tried to download Viber from Windows Store and i get this error code. I restarted my phone and Wi-Fi but it won't work. Maybe server issues?

I get the same error when I try to download anything from the Store, or even check for system updates.

Same here. Had the issue on Win10 Desktop too but after several attempts the App I wanted downloaded and installed just fine. On Mobile the problem persists

Started working for me again a couple of mins ago, issue seems resolved by MS

Microsoft said this morning that they have fixed the Store issues, although some users are still experiencing them. If you fall into that camp, you will want to read on for a possible fix!
