Problem with iCloud Calendar in Windows 10

Every time I open my windows Calendar a notification comes up that says 'iCloud settings are out of date'. I then re-enter all of the correct information, including password, and the same notification comes up. I have reviewed this with Apple support and they tell me that Windows 10 has this problem that shows up on the Calendar. How can this be corrected?
